POLICE late last night locked down parts of the Gold Coast after reports of shots being fired during a chase for two wanted hoons.
Witnesses said up to four shots were fired and a police car wasugg boots for cheap ugg boots for cheap ugg boots for cheap rammed on Panache St, Molendinar, as several units swarmed on Ashmore and Chevron Island, The Gold Coast Bulletin reports.
Authorities said no shots were fired.
Sniffer dogs, plainclothes police "with guns drawn" and stingers were all deployed, the Bulletin reports.
One police officer sustained minor injuries during the incident, after he attempted to remove keys from the ignition of a stolen vehicle at the Molendinar address.
Police said officers attended the Panache St ugg boots for cheap ugg boots for cheap ugg boots for cheapaddress around 5.40pm and spotted the stolen car, containing two men, in the driveway.
An officer approached the driver's side window and attempted to remove the keys as the vehicle started reversing out of the driveway.
The stolen vehicle then rammed the passengerugg boots for cheap ugg boots for cheap ugg boots for cheap side of the police car before speeding away.
The two wanted men in the car were still on the run late last night. One man, who wasn't in the vehicle, was detained.
